Since 2017, we’ve helped hundreds of applicants apply to top 10 deferred MBA programs with an 85% acceptance rate

When we started Deferred MBA, we had two goals:

  1. Provide world-class admissions coaching to as many people as possible

  2. Make that coaching more affordable than it is today

So, for the past 4 years, we’ve experimented with various methods of providing high-quality advice in more scalable and affordable ways. We ran bootcamps, wrote content, conducted group trainings, and did countless hours of 1:1 essay editing, resume reviews, recommendation prep and application strategy sessions.

Here were our results:

Deferred MBA Client Acceptance Rate

For 2017-2019 only Harvard and Stanford offered Deferred MBA Programs.

The formula: Content + Community + Coaching

Through all of these efforts we’ve come to learn that strong deferred MBA applicants get from 0 (not knowing anything) to 100 (getting accepted to their dream schools) through three two main things:

  1. Content—learning how to approach the application from experts who’ve done this successfully (Get free strategy guide)

  2. Community—engaging with other students and leaning on past admits to build community (Free Facebook group)

  3. Coaching—explore 100+ personalized deferred MBA coaching options that fit your budget, background, and goals, which we’ve done successfully for hundreds of applicants (Get started on Leland)
