New Product Offering: Step 6 - Crush Your MBA Interviews

About us

Our Team

We are John and Karli (and Cal). Currently, we reside in San Francisco, but we are preparing to move to Palo Alto in fall of 2020 for John to begin the MBA program at Stanford GSB.

In the spring of 2017, as John was finishing up his undergraduate degree, we spent countless hours putting together his MBA application strategy for the 2+2 program at HBS and deferred enrollment for the GSB. We debated recommender strategies, essay themes, and various other parts of the application. Ultimately, through our efforts, help from others, and some luck, the hand of God, or whatever you want to call it, John was accepted to Harvard Business School and Stanford GSB. We were shocked and elated, and it only reinforced our belief that with the right preparation and approach, anyone can get in to these schools as well.

Since that time, we began helping others with their applications and eventually formed our own MBA consulting firm focused on 2+2 and deferred enrollment programs.

This has given us the opportunity to consult dozens of clients as they prepare, apply, and interview for HBS and Stanford GSB. Through these experiences, we have learned a great deal about what it takes to get in, and what applicants (even exceptionally strong applicants) typically struggle with.

In the Deferred MBA Application Strategy Guidewe share the approach we took and the approach that we’ve now helped many other successful applicants leverage in order to gain acceptance into these elite business schools.

We are confident that if you follow the guidance laid out in the strategy guide, you too, will be one step closer to that acceptance letter. Best of luck!
